Velvet Elf!

I've been playing with virtual and physical instruments that emulate tape. For boopin' I layered a few different lines on top of each other using Ahornberg Tape Recorder module in VCV rack, and during playback I messed with wheels of the tape to create stutter and slow down effects.

I am very happy with this song, even if it isn't the kind of song I'd often listen to. Very droney? Captivating! I like the tension between resolution and dissonance in this piece.
Voices are instances Erica Synths wavetable module in VCV Rack 2, put through filters and delay.

A sassy little keyboard jam. No keyboards were involved in the production of this ditty.
I really like the sparse drums that made it through from sliced samples.
Both voices sequenced/improvised through cheat codes 2 on a Norns shield using a grid.
